We are deeply saddened by the passing of Dan Wheldon on October 16th in Las Vegas. It was a tragic event – one that has devastated the entire racing community.

We were honoured to have Dan race at the Edmonton Indy in previous years. He will be sorely missed by race fans everywhere.

Our deepest condolences to Dan’s family and friends who are struggling to deal with his loss.  We also send our best wishes to Pippa Mann and JR Hildebrand for speedy recoveries.

Rock’n August is an international car show and music festival taking place in St. Albert, Alberta- a suburb of Edmonton. This year the event will take place from Tuesday, August the 2nd through Saturday the 6th. 2010′s event saw 658 classic car entries into the event and more than 50,000 people attending altogether, making Rock’n August one of the largest events to take place in the province of Alberta. 2011 plans to be another huge year with at least as many people estimated to attend as 2010. Visitors to Rock’n August not only come from our home province of Alberta, but also British Columbia and Saskatchewan, and even Washington, Idaho and Montana – truly making Rock’n August an international car show.
