RWE was planned from Day 1 to be an inclusive event, to be annual, and to be adaptable. Individual events are organized by individual car clubs, organizations, interested parties, or larger corporations under the banner of RWE. In this manner, each event is run by experts in each area, and they bring their passions to the game. Also, this means that the workload on each volunteer team is focused on making their specific event a success, and not overloaded with other concerns.
Race Week Edmonton is a 100% volunteer driven event. We’ve got a lot going on, a lot on the burner, and we’re gonna need as much help as we can get.
If you want to help out in any way, we’d sure love to hear from you. We’re looking for some people to help out with the soap-box derby, and some people to help work some of our special events. We’d love a few people to be a part of the Race Week Edmonton street team, to help put up posters and drop off promo items around town.
